Public guided tours Nachtigallstollen visitor mine

Summer season (1 April – 31 October)

Tue – Fri: 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 4.30pm
Sat/Sun and public holidays: 10.30am – 4.30pm (hourly)

Winter season (1 November – 31 March)

Tue – Fri: 12.00 and 15.30
Sat – Sun: 11.00, 13.00, 15.00 and 16.30


Duration: 1 hour

Price: Children €1.50, adults €3  (plus admission)
Participants: max. 10 people
Minimum age: 6 years old

Information for visitors

  • Temperature in the tunnel: approx. 14°C (summer) / approx. 8°C (winter)
  • Sturdy footwear required
  • Children 6 and older allowed (the “Grand Mine” tour is for children 10 and older)
  • Not suitable for people with walking disabilities, walkers or mobility aids

Changing themed tours

We regularly offer additional public tours of the Nachtigallstollen, tours on special topics such as small-scale mining or civil engineering, and demonstrations of the steam hoisting machine for individual visitors.
